Privacy Policy

Potionverse: Magical Sort ("the game") is developed by Vishnu Vijayakumar V ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game handles, why, and the choices you have.
The short version
- There are no accounts. We never ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or location.
- Your progress is stored on your device.
- We use Google services for anonymous statistics, crash reports, ads and purchases. They are described below.
Information stored on your device
Your levels, stars, Essence, collections, purchases and settings are saved on your device only. If Android backup is enabled on your phone, Android may include this save in your personal Google backup so it can be restored on a new device. We cannot see it.
Information collected through Google services
- Firebase Analytics. Anonymous usage events, for example which level was started or finished, how many moves it took, and whether a hint was used. It also collects device information such as model, OS version, country and an app-instance identifier. We use it only to balance difficulty and improve the game.
- Firebase Crashlytics. When the game crashes: a crash report with the stack trace, device model, OS version and the in-game screen at the time, so we can fix the bug.
- Firebase Remote Config. Lets us adjust settings such as how often ads appear without an update. It uses the app-instance identifier and does not identify you.
- Google AdMob. The game is free and shows ads, including optional videos you can choose to watch for a reward. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID, IP address and device information to serve, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings.
- Google Play Billing. Optional purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We receive a purchase confirmation so we can deliver what you bought. We never see your payment details.
- Google Play in-app review. The game may ask once whether you'd like to rate it. Your review is handled by Google Play.
Consent and your choices
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent through Google's certified consent form before personalised ads are shown or analytics storage is used. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy choices. If you decline, you may still see non-personalised ads.
Everywhere, you can turn off ad personalisation and reset your advertising ID in Android's settings. You can avoid ads between levels entirely with the optional "Remove Ads" purchase.
Children
Potionverse is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help remove it.
Retention and deletion
Uninstalling the game deletes all progress stored on your device. Analytics and crash data are kept only as long as Google's default retention periods for these services. To ask us to delete analytics data linked to your app installation, email us. We will explain how to find the identifier we need.
Security
All data sent to Google services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We do not sell your information or share it with anyone other than the service providers listed above.
